Tent Logic
A quiet campsite. A serious logic challenge.
Combine row, column and tree constraints. Direct deductions alone will not finish these boards.
One tent beside each tree. Tents never touch—even diagonally. Match each row and column total.
Choose a tool, then tap or paint a stroke. Keyboard: arrows to move, 1 tent, 2 grass, 0 erase.
Pair every tree with one tent. Match the edge numbers.
Three rules, one important detail
- Each tree pairs with exactly one tent on an adjacent side, not diagonally.
- Each tent pairs with exactly one tree. It may be beside other trees; a one-to-one pairing must still exist.
- Tents never touch each other. Edge numbers count tents in that row or column. Grass notes are optional.
Green numbers mean the count matches, not that every position is correct. Explain a move assumes your current marks are correct; Reveal a square uses the answer. Both count as assists.

Rules & example: Tent Logic
- Pair every tree with one tent on an adjacent side, never diagonally.
- Tents cannot touch each other, even diagonally. Match the row and column totals.
- Each tent has one tree partner. Grass notes are optional; Undo and hints are always available.
A quick example
If a row needs two tents and already has two, every other non-tree square in that row must be grass.
Where to start
Trailhead has 30 direct-deduction boards. Backcountry and Wilderness require more than our basic single-line and single-tree rules; Wilderness leaves at least eight tents after that pass. Ratings are design-based, not human playtest results. Daily rotates the same 90 boards. Progress lasts for this visit.
