How to play Rectangle Fit

  1. Cover every square with a rectangle containing exactly one number.
  2. The number equals the rectangle’s area. Rectangles cannot overlap.
  3. Tap two opposite corners to place a rectangle. Tap a filled rectangle to remove it.

A quick example

A 6 needs six squares: it could be 2×3, 3×2 or 1×6. Nearby numbers and edges constrain the shape.

Where to start

Try a corner or a number with only one possible shape. Hints remove an incorrect rectangle or add a correct one. No timer or lives. Progress lasts only while the puzzle stays open.
