Play Gridlark uses optional analytics to understand which games people enjoy. You do not need to accept analytics to play.

Optional Google Analytics

Only after you choose “Allow analytics” do we load Google Analytics 4. It measures page visits, referral sources, browser and device information, approximate location, returning visits, and game starts and results. Game events include the game and level, completion, time spent, hints, mistakes, and scores. For Peg Jump, we also measure hint requests, restarts, undo, invalid jumps, and positions with no moves left, with jump and peg counts to help improve difficulty and controls. We do not send your puzzle answers, account ID, name, or email address to Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.

Google receives technical connection information when its tag loads and processes analytics data on its infrastructure, which may be outside your country. Analytics cookies help distinguish browsers and returning visits. Our analytics cookie duration and saved consent choice are set to 180 days. Browser settings can shorten this. Analytics does not identify the same person across different devices on this site.

Your choice

Use “Cookie settings” below to allow or reject analytics. “No thanks” stops future analytics events and removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase data already received by Google. We do not send earlier game activity later if you decline. Your choice is stored in this browser; clearing browser storage resets it. If browser storage is blocked, your choice lasts only for the current page.

Game records and sign-in

Mine Logic offers optional “Save on this device”. It stores your last practice board per difficulty, today’s Daily boards, cell marks, marking tool, up to 100 Undo steps, hint/check usage and completion records only in this browser. Daily completion history is kept for 90 UTC days. No login, upload or cross-device/domain sync is involved. Use “Clear Mine Logic records” to erase these records and stop saving, without affecting other games. Without saving, they last for this page visit. Storage restrictions or clearing site data may prevent or remove saves. Game saving is separate from optional analytics.

Ice Trail offers “Save on this device”. If enabled, your last practice board, today’s Daily board, slide history, hint count and practice clears are saved only in this browser, not uploaded or synced. Use “Clear Ice Trail records” in the game to erase them and stop saving. Without device saving, progress lasts only for this visit. Browser storage restrictions or clearing site data can remove saved progress. This feature is separate from optional analytics.

Codebreaker saves progress and up to 120 recent codes in this browser’s local storage. These records do not sync to your account or other devices. Clearing site data removes them. Ruled-out digit notes stay only while the current code is open.

Analytics is separate from your game records. Where a game offers account-based saving, sign-in is handled through ChatGPT and completed records are stored with your account so the site can show them back to you. Some games keep unfinished rounds only while the page is open. Game instructions explain what is saved. Necessary sign-in cookies and storage are not controlled by the optional analytics choice.
