Play Gridlark uses optional analytics to understand which games people enjoy. You do not need to accept analytics to play.

Optional Google Analytics

Only after you choose “Allow analytics” do we load Google Analytics 4. It measures page visits, referral sources, browser and device information, approximate location, returning visits, and game starts and results. Game events include the game and level, completion, time spent, hints, mistakes, and scores. We do not send your puzzle answers, account ID, name, or email address to Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.

Google receives technical connection information when its tag loads and processes analytics data on its infrastructure, which may be outside your country. Analytics cookies help distinguish browsers and returning visits. Our analytics cookie duration and saved consent choice are set to 180 days. Browser settings can shorten this. Analytics does not identify the same person across different devices on this site.

Your choice

Use “Cookie settings” below to allow or reject analytics. “No thanks” stops future analytics events and removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase data already received by Google. We do not send earlier game activity later if you decline. Your choice is stored in this browser; clearing browser storage resets it. If browser storage is blocked, your choice lasts only for the current page.

Game records and sign-in

Codebreaker saves progress and up to 120 recent codes in this browser’s local storage. These records do not sync to your account or other devices. Clearing site data removes them. Ruled-out digit notes stay only while the current code is open.

Analytics is separate from your game records. Where a game offers account-based saving, sign-in is handled through ChatGPT and completed records are stored with your account so the site can show them back to you. Some games keep unfinished rounds only while the page is open. Game instructions explain what is saved. Necessary sign-in cookies and storage are not controlled by the optional analytics choice.
