Island Divide
Shape the islands. Keep the ocean together.
Island shapes alone leave at least two islands unresolved. Use the sea rules to decide.
Grow each numbered island to its size. Islands cannot touch by an edge. Keep all sea connected, with no solid 2×2 sea block.
How to play & thinking tips
- A number includes its own square. Each island contains exactly one number.
- Land connects along sides, never diagonally. Different islands may touch at corners, not edges.
- Sea squares must all connect along sides. Four sea squares cannot form a 2×2 block.
- A finished island needs sea around it. If three corners of a 2×2 are sea, the fourth must be land. Avoid cutting off a narrow sea passage.
- Tap an already selected mark to erase it. One drag is one Undo. Check rules only checks visible conflicts; Reveal uses the answer and counts as assistance.

Rules & example: Island Divide
- Each island contains exactly one number and that many land squares, including the number.
- Separate islands with sea. Islands may touch at corners but never along an edge.
- All sea squares must connect along sides, with no solid 2×2 sea block. Mark every square as land or sea.
A quick example
A 1 is already a complete island: its side neighbors must be sea. Three sea squares in a 2×2 force the fourth square to be land.
Where to start
60 original boards in three packs. Straits and Archipelago retain ambiguity after our island-shape compatibility check: combine sea connectivity and the no-2×2 rule.
